[Bug] Memory command unresponsive to Enter key input, outputs escape sequences on retry

Question

**Bug Description**
doing /memory and trying to press enter to select for project level editing, it doesn't do anything, and upon pressing enter again or any input i get escape sequence like ^[[O .happens on both native terminal and visual studio code integrated terminal.
