[Bug] Auto Mode not available in permission mode cycle despite Max plan eligibility
Bug Description
[BUG] Auto Mode not available in Shift+Tab cycle on Max plan despite v2.1.138 default-availabilityCLI version: 2.1.138Plan: MaxOS: Ubuntu 24.04 Expected:Per release notes for v2.1.111+, Auto Mode is default-available for Max,Team, and Enterprise; the --enable-auto-mode flag is deprecated and AutoMode should appear in the Shift+Tab permission-mode cycle.Actual:Shift+Tab only cycles between Default / Plan / Accept-Edits. Auto Modeis absent from the cycle and from the status bar indicator.Account scope:Affects only my account. Other team members on the same org/plan andidentical CLI version have Auto Mode available without additional config. This points to an account-level entitlement flag, not a client config issue.Repro:1. claude --version -> 2.1.1382. Start session in a trusted repo3. Press Shift+Tab repeatedly4. Auto Mode never appears in the cycleTried:- claude logout && claude login (fresh auth)- claude --enable-auto-mode (deprecated flag, no effect)- Verified settings.json contains auto-mode entries- Confirmed no managed-policy / disableBypassPermissionsMode overrideRequest:Please verify the auto-mode entitlement on my account and re-issue ifmissing. Happy to provide account email, request IDs, and redactedsettings dump on request.
