What's Wrong?
Remote Control initialization fails with "Remote Control failed to connect: Remote Control initialization failed"
Version: Claude Code 2.1.111

Steps to reproduce:
Open Claude Code desktop app
Type /rc or /remote-control in chat
Error appears immediately
Expected: Banner with session URL, session appears in Claude mobile app → Code tab
Actual: Remote Control failed to connect: Remote Control initialization failed
Diagnostics:
Network connection to api.anthropic.com ✓ (ping 15ms)
Auth status: logged in via claude.ai ✓
No VPN active on Mac or iPhone ✓
Tried: fresh restart, full command /remote-control, multiple attempts
Mobile app Code tab shows "Keine Sitzungen gefunden"
Note: Feature worked previously (old sessions visible in Dispatch). Only new sessions fail to initialize.
