oom-killer invoked after an unreasonable amount of bash shells spawned

Bug Description
while debugging claude was trying to get the format of a shell command run from my program right and it repeatedly asked for permission to run commands, so I granted access to cmd like grep, mv, go run, cat,... for the session. I only had time to open the task manager to see sth like 1000 bash -l processes running before oom-killer killed my xfce session entirely.
dmesg.txt
Is there a way to recover the session that was running?
