Incorrect GitHub Repository Detection in /pr-comments Command
Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Aug 13, 2025 by olivere Closed Aug 13, 2025
Bug Description
I was trying out /pr-comments in a private repository on GitHub. I assumed Claude Code would know about the repository as there is a .git/ directory with all details around. Instead it hallucinated different GitHub repository URLs looking for comments, like a project from oliverproud. The repository name sounds similar, and my GitHub handle is "olivere", so somehow it seems to make sense. But I think running GitHub calls against repositories that are clearly not related to the current code base: That came unexpected. Maybe Claude Code could be a bit more clever when it comes to finding the accurate GitHub repository.
