[Bug] Compact command hangs remote client with partial results until desktop input received

Bug Description
When executing a command like /compact claude remote to claude ios stops updating and shows partial results of the compact. Connection stops working until input on the remote server end (my desktop) is received. This limits use of claude ios when away from the desk

Also, / skills don't seem to work when invoked from claude code remote client. The happens in both current IntelliJ and Goland IDEs. Have not tested claude CLI app outside of IDE.
