What's Wrong?

• What happened: Copy/paste (Ctrl+V) not working in the chat input
• Your system: Windows 11 Enterprise, Intel Core Ultra 7
• Where it works: Other apps (you confirmed it works elsewhere)
• Where it doesn't work: Only in Claude Code

What Should Happen?

I should be allowed to paste anything. I can even paste 1 word

Nil nothing happens

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Claude Code (version 2.1.128)
2. Start a conversation with Claude
3. Copy any text from another application (Ctrl+C)
4. 4. Try to paste it into the Claude Code chat input box (Ctrl+V)
5. Result: Nothing gets pasted
6. Expected: The copied text should appear in the input box
