claude-cli spawns multiple processes and exhausts system resources

What's Wrong?

claude-cli in windows 11 spawns multiple claude code, git bash, python, node.js, MCP.exe processes till it exhausts all resources.

Claude-web pointed to a known bug: https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/32792), which was supposed to have been fixed

What Should Happen?

there should not be multiple processes.
