[Bug] /resume returns to original conversation instead of branched after /btw fork

Bug Description
I did a /btw while waiting for Claude as follows:
/btw Do the current changes do anything with the xxxxxxx field that's been removed
⎿ Branched conversation "btw: Do the current changes do anything with the xxxxxxx field t…". You are now in the branch. Use
/resume 04ee0973-4d8f-4159-8b97-a3c14974c1f1 to return to the original.

However claude then continues with the original branch and entering another cli and resuming the above also puts me back in the same branch. I'm guessing that doing a fork from a /btw isn't supported perhaps?
