typing in claude code (webview and terminal) is lagging only in vsccode

What's Wrong?

Typing is very lagging in webview and terminal claude code in vscode only. works fine in terminal outside vscode. Other agents are fine as is typing in the integrated vscode terminal is normal. Just claude code is affected.

Typing should be normal

Here's what I tried before submitting the bug report. Nothing below worked

1. Switch the extension to terminal mode
2. Check your context usage
3. Clear the IDE lock
4. Disable GPU acceleration on Linux
5. Disable extension autosave
