Claude CoWork and all CoWork Conversations disappeared after a Windows 11 Update
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
I have a Claude Pro account, but yesterday when I opened the Claude desktop app on my PC, I discovered the Claude CoWork and Claude Code tabs have disappeared. They no longer appear at the top of the app as they used to, and they are also nowhere to be found in the sidebar. Along with the options to use Code and CoWork, all of my previous conversations that took place in CoWork (I haven't used Code) are gone.
Here are steps I've taken to troubleshoot:
Restarted the app from scratch - No change
Removed the app using add/remove programs and re-downloaded and installed it from scratch - No change
Rebooted my PC - No change
Checked my Pro account status to make sure there were no missed payments or anything that would inactivate it - Last payment was 14 days ago (I'm on the monthly plan) and it processed successfully
What Should Happen?
I should regain access to Code and CoWork and my previous CoWork Conversations should be restored
