What's Wrong?

When using /remote-control and chatting with claude on the Android claude app, taking a photo and providing it to the chat doesn't allow the agent to see it.

What Should Happen?

Photos provided in remote control chat should be visible to the agent.

Error Messages/Logs

Agent: It looks like you may have forgotten to attach an image — I can see the plan but I don't see a screenshot of the current rendering. Could you share the image showing what it looks like right now?

Me (with new screenshot attached): can you see that screenshot

Agent: No, I can't see any screenshot in this conversation — no image has come through on my end. Could you try attaching it again?

Steps to Reproduce

  1. start /remote-control on claude code extension in vscode.
  2. connect from claude android app
  3. post image from android app
  4. ask agent to look at image
