[Bug] Claude Max weekly usage limit window shorter than 7 days
Bug Description
Subject: Max 5x weekly limit window shorter than 7 days - Fin unable to escalate
Hi,
I'm a Claude Max 5x subscriber and I'd like to formally report a bug with my weekly usage limit, after Fin AI Agent was unable to escalate it.
The issue: my weekly window is demonstrably shorter than the 7 days my subscription guarantees.
Facts:
- Today is Friday, April 24, 2026.
- My first prompt this week was earlier today (Friday).
- Settings > Usage shows: Weekly limit (All models) 1% used, resets Tuesday at 12:00.
- That is approximately 4 days from now, not 7.
- This is not the first time. Previously my weekly reset moved from Friday back to Thursday, so the window has now shrunk twice on my account.

I already went through the in-app support chat. Fin acknowledged that "resets Tuesday at 12:00" on Friday April 24 is not consistent with a 7-day rolling window, but stated it could not escalate to a human specialist or report this to engineering, and instead suggested I use /bug in Claude Code — which is intended for CLI bugs, not account-level quota issues.
I'm asking for:
1. A human review of my account's weekly window behavior.
2. This issue forwarded to engineering, since it appears to be a bug in the rolling 7-day window logic.
3. If possible, restoration of the lost days on the current weekly window.
