Problem Statement

--allow-dangerously-skip-permissions This is the nuclear option

Can you add a feature so Claude has freedom to do anything as long as it is contained within a certain directory?

--auto-approve-within <directory> flag — would be a genuinely useful middle ground between "ask everything" and "skip everything." It doesn't exist yet.

Proposed Solution

Add --auto-approve-within <directory> option to Claude Code.
