Title: [BUG] VSCode/IDE shortcut in Claude Code web disappeared

Resolved 💬 1 comment Opened Apr 22, 2026 by stefdelec Closed May 28, 2026

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

I'm using Claude Code desktop. Previously, on the session page (where I can see the branch name, diff stats like "+10 -0", and the "Create PR" button), there was an icon to open the session's worktree directly in VSCode.
That icon has disappeared. I can't find it anywhere in the UI anymore, and I don't see any option in settings to re-enable it.
Is this a known regression, has the feature been moved/renamed, or was it removed intentionally? If it's still available, where can I find it?

What Should Happen?

Have an easy way to open directly in IDE (vscode before for me) the worktree of the session.
