Type of Behavior Issue

Claude reverted/undid previous changes without asking

What You Asked Claude to Do

first commit. after commit do this one: for the ikara widgets we need another tab besides appearance and display, we also need general: in general we will add one group called "WIDGET TYPE" in widget type we will put the same as in the modal settings: Single/plural toggle (use the easy editors) and the display type dropdown.

What Claude Actually Did

  1. After being working on the same sidebar. all of a sudden he could not do the task.
  2. He said he was confused with a previous version of the sidebar
  3. Then he said that he had found the real issue and said that there was a legacy sidebar he was confsued with.
  4. After that he deleted the sidebar we were working on for 2 hours
  5. And he brought back a sidebar that had zero functionality, something he built, and something he suggested as not viable, and he suggested to leave it there. I didnt lost the entire sidebar, but since the release of opus 4.7 I struggle a lot to get him understanding what to do, he gets lost constantly and he seems to not do the things properly. All of a sudden he puts things there unformatted with no data connected. its very frustrating, and it didnt use to be like that.

Expected Behavior

I was expecting him to add the tab.

Files Affected

He deleted an entire section of a sidebar with many components. fortunately i commit often, in the past I have lost hours of work for not commiting, so no I commit oftern.
