[BUG] Claude Code shows “Usage limit reached” even though my Usage page shows plenty of allowance remaining.

What's Wrong?

[BUG] Claude Code shows “Usage limit reached” even though my Usage page shows plenty of allowance remaining. - Plan: Max (20x) - Where it happens: Only in Claude Code (not in Claude chat) - Error text: “Usage limit reached” (red banner) - Current session: 8% used (resets in ~4 hours) - Weekly “All models”: 58% used (resets Friday 12:30 AM) - Weekly “Sonnet only”: 5% used (resets Friday 2:30 AM) - Extra usage: enabled and disabled (credits still available), same result - Steps to reproduce: Open Claude Code and start a new request; banner appears immediately and blocks usage. - Screenshots: attached (Usage page + “Usage limit reached” banner)

What Should Happen?

The usage limit reached should only appear on when the limit is reached

Steps to Reproduce

Open Claude Code (extension / desktop app).
Start a new conversation / request.
Type any prompt (even a short one like “hello”).
The red banner “Usage limit reached” appears immediately and blocks the request.
Repeat: the banner appears every time, even after restarting Claude Code.
