[BUG] desktop app crashing upon opening code

What happens: the Desktop app crashes before you can run /doctor or /bug

What Should Happen?

not crash upon opening and be able to use code on the desktop app

all i do is open the desktop app and switch to code and it crashes and quits

What happens: the Desktop app crashes before you can run /doctor or /bug
Exact error message (if any): none (it just closes)
Logs: you checked Console.app and found nothing relevant
Extra context: you only have one install (/usr/local/bin/claude) and the CLI works (claude --version shows 2.1.50)
