Markdown File Path Incorrectly Replaced by Clipboard PDF Image

Bug Description
I've dragged across a markdown file, however the path to the markdown is showing for a second, then becoming an image (chat says Can you read this file? [Image #1] when I prepend with 'Can you read this file?'. This image represents the PDF file that's currently in my clipboard. I've tried with a new chat, and same thing.
