Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)

What's Wrong?

The same bug I reported here: https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/39997 and here https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/40677 . It was fixed after those bug reports, but is now broken again on v 2.1.113. It still works on 2.1.112.

Seriously guys, you have heard of regression tests, right?

What Should Happen?

Shift + Enter should NOT submit the prompt. It should enter a newline.
