What's Wrong?

Desktop app version: 1.3036.0.0
OS: Windows 11 Pro
Exact error: “Claude Desktop failed to launch. Please check for updates and try again.”
Steps taken: fully closed app, uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted Windows (still fails).
Logs: nothing appears in Event Viewer → Windows Logs → Application after launch attempt.

What Should Happen?

The Claude windows app should open without an issue.
