[BUG] screen rendering, perhaps in CSS

What's Wrong?

macOS 15.7.5 (24G624)

Claude 1.2773.0 (884b37) 2026-04-15T14:32:09.000Z

Symptom: left panel shadow/duplicate overlaps chat area, width matches left panel width, moves when left panel is resized

Triggered by: window resize operations, persists across sessions, started approximately 14 Apr 2026

Deleting all anthropic and claude files from ~/Library didn't fix it.

"defaults delete com.anthropic.claudefordesktop" also didn't fix it, which points toward the app bundle itself rather than saved state — consistent with a bad update.

Shortly after it started, attempts to recall a previous session got a 404, That continued to be the case till yesterday, but is not happening today.

What Should Happen?

We should always see all of the Claude output regardless of window geometry
