Problem Statement
In the CLI I can use opusplan with --model opusplan or /model opusplan. However, in Claude Code Desktop I don’t see this feature. I have to switch models manually.
Proposed Solution
Queria que tivesse no seletor de modelos ou em algum recurso a opção de selecionar opusplan de modo a alterar para o Opus automaticamente quando estiver no modo plan, e Sonnet para outras coisas.
Alternative Solutions
I wish there were an option in the model selector, or some other feature, to choose opusplan so it would automatically switch to Opus when in Plan mode and use Sonnet for everything else.
Priority
High - Significant impact on productivity

why is this not a thing yet?
That's why I'm not using Claude Code Desktop yet.
Confirmed that the
/model opusplan+ plan mode works correctly even on the desktop app, exactly as documented!
