What's Wrong?

Title: macOS UI bug: left sidebar overlaps main chat text at any window size

Description:
On Claude Desktop for macOS, the left sidebar overlaps the main chat text, making the UI hard to read. This happens even when resizing the window, and it persists after reinstalling the app.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Open Claude Desktop on macOS
2) Resize the window to any size
3) Observe the sidebar overlapping the chat text

Environment:

  • Claude Desktop version: 1.2581.0 (f10398) 2026-04-14T17:16:40.000Z
  • macOS version: 15.3.1 (a) (25D771280a)

Open Claude Desktop on macOS.
Resize the window to any size (small, medium, large).
Observe that the left sidebar overlaps the main chat text, making it hard to read.
Confirm it still happens after reinstalling the app.
