[BUG] Pasting content causes the v1.0.63 CLI to freeze permanently

Bug Description

v1.0.63 causes the Claude session to freeze whenever a paste action occurs.
Can confirm v1.0.62 was functional, a new session showed the update and now v1.0.63.
All restarts and attempts do not fix. Typing is functional, pastes cause some kind of crash.

Steps to Reproduce

1. confirm you're on v1.0.63 and paste some content
2. the session is frozen and the user cannot type or paste, must shutdown that shell

Expected Behavior

Be able to use Claude Code via the CLI.

Actual Behavior

The CLI is frozen.
