What's Wrong?
Description
When viewing CLI-created sessions in the Claude Code web UI (claude.ai/code),
sessions appear duplicated (each session shown twice in the list).
Entering any session and navigating back to the list triggers an error,
and all sessions disappear from the list entirely.
Actual Behavior
- Each session is listed twice
- Navigating back triggers an error and removes all sessions from the list
Environment
- Affected clients: Claude mobile app AND claude.ai web browser (same behavior on both)
- Troubleshooting attempted: cache clear, data clear, app reinstall, VPN on/off — all show identical behavior
- Session origin: Claude Code CLI (terminal)
Impact
Sessions created via CLI are inaccessible through the web UI.
The issue persists across all clients and is reproducible 100% of the time.
What Should Happen?
- Sessions appear once each in the list
- Navigating back from a session returns to the session list without errors
Error Messages/Logs
Steps to Reproduce
- Create one or more sessions using Claude Code CLI (terminal)
- Open claude.ai/code in a browser or the Claude mobile app
- Navigate to the session list under the Code menu
- Observe: each session appears twice in the list
- Click into any session
- Press the back button to return to the session list
- Observe: error message is shown and the entire session list disappears
