[Feature Request] Allow disabling hardcoded mode indicator in status line

Feature Request
Hey :) I added a custom status line to claude and it's a really neet feature. However, there is a hardcoded UI feature which shows the current editing mode, in my case it shows: "auto mode on" and is situated below my custom status line. This doesn't look great, and I would like instead to add this to my custom status line and only have that at the bottom of the terminal. Thanks!
