Bug Description
After updating to v2.1.104 (April 12, 2026), typing Hebrew (RTL) text in the chat input causes each letter to appear on a new line instead of forming words. This was not an issue before the update.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open Claude Code
- Switch keyboard to Hebrew input
- Type any Hebrew text in the chat input field
Expected Behavior
Hebrew letters should appear inline, forming words normally.
Actual Behavior
Each Hebrew letter drops to a new line.
Workaround
Type Hebrew text in an external editor and paste it into the chat input.
Environment
- Claude Code version: 2.1.104
- OS: Linux 6.17.0-20-generic
- Language: Hebrew (RTL)
