Problem Statement

I'd like to selectively share session transcripts with Anthropic — some sessions contain uncritical code where sharing benefits both sides (better LLM training for you, better models for me). But other sessions involve proprietary or security-sensitive work that I cannot share.
The current global on/off toggle in data privacy settings doesn't support this. I either share everything or nothing.

Proposed Solution

Proposed solution:
add a per-session /share command that explicitly opts in for that session only.
This would likely increase the amount of quality training data Anthropic receives, since users like me who currently must say "no" globally would happily contribute individual sessions.

Alternative Solutions

when asking "Can Anthropic look at your session transcript to help us improve Claude Code?" ... add an option "just this session (up to now)"
