Model Mismatch: Max Plan Advertising Claude Opus 4 but Delivering Claude 3 Opus

Bug Description
Title: Max Plan Falsely Advertising Claude Opus 4 - Actually Delivering Claude 3 Opus

Description:

I am paying for the Max plan which explicitly advertises "Claude Opus 4" as the model. However, the actual model being delivered is Claude 3 Opus, not Claude Opus 4.

Evidence:

1. When asked directly, the model identifies itself as "Claude 3 Opus"
2. Performance and error rates match Claude 3, not the advertised Claude 4
3. System environment falsely shows claude-opus-4-20250514 but the actual behavior and self-identification confirms it's Claude 3
4. This explains why the model is so bad over the last few days at least and cannot follow the basic workflows that it used to breeze through and looking back at my notes it's handling things exactly like previous older models

Impact:

• I am paying premium pricing for Claude Opus 4 but receiving an older, less capable model
• Frequent mistakes and lower quality outputs consistent with Claude 3 performance
• This is false advertising - the Max plan promises Claude Opus 4 but delivers Claude 3

Expected: Claude Opus 4 (as advertised and paid for on Max plan)
Actual: Claude 3 Opus (self-identified by the model)

Severity: Critical - This is a service delivery failure where customers are not receiving what they're paying for.

This needs immediate resolution - either deliver the advertised Claude Opus 4 model or adjust pricing to reflect that only Claude 3 Opus is being provided.
