  1. There are normal new files in .claude/agents in the project root directory

Same here

Claude CLI Diagnostic
Currently running: npm-global (1.0.61)
Path: /Users/redacted/.nvm/versions/node/v22.17.1/bin/node
Invoked: /Users/redacted/.nvm/versions/node/v22.17.1/bin/claude
Config install method: local
Auto-updates enabled: true
Update permissions: Yes

It works on a different laptop with the same configuration and subscription, the clear difference is the OS version. I'm trying to upgrade now

Running into the same issue here. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling my local node install, no luck. And I am on the latest macOS version.

Claude CLI version: 1.0.61
Operating System: macOS Sequoia 15.5
Terminal: ghostty+fish

Operating System: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit (10.0, build 26100)
Terminal: PowerShell in cursor

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Claude Code.

This should be fixed in 1.0.64. Please feel free to reopen if you're still seeing issues after updating
