[Bug] Auto-Compact loses task context and reverts completed work without preserving last assignment

Bug Description
Claude lost it complete task after compacting. You should at least reserve the last assignment. In the actual situation, we were investigating an issue and Claude claimed a solution. I ask to write a test it went away for more than 10 minutes causing a compact and reverted my changes claiming it fixed the bug again and no trace of the writing test action. This is hugely waistful and disappointing.
