[BUG] degraded thinking performance since Dec/Feb still persisting (stop ignoring your paying customers pls)

What's Wrong?

Since the issue https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/42796 was closed without being resolved, pending answers to many users' comments confirming the issue still exists, I'd like to reopen it here, so the Anthropic team and @bcherny can actually look into requests and comments of their paying customers.

What Should Happen?

Anthropic should stop ignoring their paying customers and stop closing issues that are not resolved until confirmed by the actual community and their customers themselves. This is an active community and you'll always get feedback if something didn't work as expected after a deployed fix.
