[BUG] Cowork not working on Windows 11 Pro - VM service errors, all troubleshooting exhausted

What's Wrong?

Environment

OS: Windows 11 Pro, Dell Vostro
Claude Desktop: latest version
Plan: Paid subscriber

What's wrong
Cowork has never worked for me on Windows. I have exhausted every suggested fix with no resolution.
Steps already tried

Restarted Claude and computer multiple times
Restarted CoworkVMService and vmcompute via PowerShell as Administrator
Reinstalled the workspace via the Cowork tab
Ran the community ClaudeFix tool (Quick Fix and Deep Fix)
Verified Hyper-V is enabled and hypervisor is detected via systeminfo

None of these resolved the issue.

Additional issues encountered while trying to report this

The /bug command submit button in Claude Code is grayed out and cannot be clicked, making it impossible to report bugs through the intended channel
Anthropic's support portal (support.anthropic.com) has no ticket submission option
The Fin AI support bot was unable to help

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Claude Desktop on Windows 11 Pro
2. Click the Cowork tab
3. Cowork fails to start / VM service does not connect

Note: This has never worked on my machine. There is no specific action that triggers the failure — it has been broken from day one.
