Problem Statement

It is a UI enhancement that will allow the buddy to be more visible on certain backgrounds.

Proposed Solution

I would like there to be a setting similar to the statusline-command.sh that we can edit to change buddy color manually and also maybe for accessibility for more users if there is a way to change the color of it from the command line like we do the status line color.

Priority

Low - Nice to have

Feature Category

Interactive mode (TUI)

Use Case Example

I created a green background for my terminal and the buddy is not very visible so I use the command line to say /buddycolor orange and can change his color or I can edit the script that handles other UI similar to statusline-command.sh and find the line where buddy color is set and change that value.
