[Bug] Excessive token consumption in Claude Code sessions

Bug Description
usage has lost its mind. i'm not even an hour in and have 5% left. i changed all my sessions to sonnet too and cleared context rather than letting the big windows run. sitll just crashing thru usage like crazy for no obvious reason
