[Bug] Excessive token consumption in new session with file operations

Bug Description
The session "BCW Reconciliation January" from today has eaten up my window usage way too fast. Can you please look into it? This isn't a resume, or a session with a ton of existing context, it was brand new, and is basically asking Claude to execute py scripts and read CSV information. I'd like to understand why it's consuming my usage limit so much! Thank you
