Resume/conversation search severely degraded after recent update

Problem

After a recent Claude Code update, finding and resuming previous conversations has become extremely difficult and frustrating.

Before (working well)

• Could easily find and resume prior work sessions
• Searching for previous conversations was straightforward

After (current, broken UX)

• Very hard to locate previous conversations/sessions to resume
• Finding prior work context (handoff docs, plans, in-progress tasks) requires excessive effort
• The workflow of picking up where you left off — which is critical for multi-session projects — is now painfully slow

Impact

For users working on multi-session projects with handoff documents and ongoing plans, the ability to quickly resume is essential. This regression makes continuity between sessions much harder than it needs to be.

Please restore the previous resume/search behavior, or at minimum make it as easy as it was before to find and continue prior conversations.
