IDE Detection Failure: Unrecognized Installation Method in Claude Code

Bug Description
on both vs code and cursor, claude can run from their terminal but failed to detect the IDE via the /ide command.\
upon checking with /doctor, the only odd one is that the installation method listed "Unknown".
