Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
Fedora Silverblue (immutable filesystem, /var/home instead of /home)
bwrap 0.11.0
Claude Code 2.1.87
The exact error: bwrap: Can't mkdir /usr/local/bin: No such file or directory
That sandbox.enabled: false in settings.json has no effect
That CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_SANDBOX=1 env var has no effect
What Should Happen?
I can't run scheduled tasks, I get error:
CLI output was not valid JSON. This may indicate an error during startup. Output: bwrap: Can't mkdir /usr/local/bin: No such file or directory
