[BUG] claude code becomes basically unusable

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

I'm on Max 5x plan, and I started noticing from 2 weeks ago, along with many others, that the usage drain 10x faster than before.
I used to code with Claude Code for the entire week and my week limit stayed about 50% and I had to use it very extensively to fill the 5 hour limit. But now, asking very simple questions or doing simple coding tasks would bump it to 100% for each 5 hour window, and using 100% just takes like 2hours, making the rest 3 hours unusable at all. This has significantly impacted my work, my life, and reduced my satisfaction.
I have read through similar posts and even official posts on Reddit. As far as I know, no solution has been patched. The customer service, bear with me, is total shit and useless as well. You would think paying $100 a month would give you the good customer support and good experience, no, I tried to connect with real agents, and they said they would email me, but I got no emails.
Can you guys please look into this issue and give us an answer? I had to switch to other products at this point because it's to a point that I can't really use it.

What Should Happen?

Claude Code should calculate token usage correctly. Whatever bugs that caused this should be fixed.
