[BUG]

Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
Also, I've noticed that Claude requires me to press CTRL+V to paste an image on the
clipboard if I've taken a native screenshot, but if I have copied a file of an existing image (even if it's a
screenshot) I can press CMD+V as normal
What Should Happen?
When I have any image on the clipboard, regardless of source, I should be able to paste with CMD+V on a Mac
Error Messages/Logs
Steps to Reproduce
- Take a screenshot with CMD+CTRL+SHIFT+4
- Try to paste with CMD+V into Claude Code.
- Observe the status bar text related to a picture being on the clipboard and needing to press Ctrl+V to paste
