I built an open-source project called claude-rs — a Rust rewrite of your Claude Code CLI, created in a single agentic one-shot session.

The project was built purely for educational and research purposes to explore agentic coding capabilities and Rust systems programming. It replicates the core tool execution loop (Bash, Read, Write, Edit, Grep, Glob) with streaming SSE and a TUI built on ratatui.
