[Bug] Excessive API usage consumption and degraded response performance

Bug Description
Usage consumption today is the highest I have ever seen by far. In just a few hours I have consumed 15% of my weekly 20x Max limit all while claude has been much much slower to respond, so I am getting less work done and consuming at least 5x my normal usage.... I normally use about 8-15% in a 15 hour day.

I am also unable to update to 2.1.88. Download fails.
