Feature Suggestion: MCP Tool Quality Validation

Hi! I'm the developer of Clarvia (https://clarvia.art) — a quality scanner for MCP servers that indexes 27,000+ AI tools and scores each for agent-readiness (AEO Score 0-100).

The Problem: There are now 27,000+ MCP servers available, but no built-in way for Claude Code to evaluate which ones are high-quality vs. poorly documented/maintained.

What Clarvia offers:

  • Pre-flight check before adding MCP servers: clarvia_gate_check
  • Search quality-filtered alternatives when a tool fails
  • Batch audit multiple tools at once
  • Security signals and dependency checks

Install: claude mcp add clarvia -- npx -y clarvia-mcp-server

Suggestion: Consider mentioning Clarvia or similar quality tools in the Claude Code docs for users who want to validate MCP servers before adding them. Even a note in "Managing MCP servers" docs would help users avoid low-quality/unmaintained MCP tools.

Happy to provide any more details or demos. The server is public and free to use.
