Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

Environment: WSL2 Ubuntu on Windows 11, Windows Terminal
Issue: After running claude auth login, the terminal freezes waiting for the auth code. No input method works - cannot type, paste with Ctrl+Shift+V, right-click paste, or pipe via /proc/fd/0 or named pipes.

Workaround: None found. API key auth works but does not support Remote Control (/rc).

What Should Happen?

Expected: Terminal accepts pasted auth code
Actual: Terminal completely unresponsive to all input methods
