[Bug] Status indicator stuck red with no processing activity for extended periods

Bug Description
Status turns red and Claude does nothing for long periods of time (record is about 45 minutes). Happening constantly, for days now. I can't use Claude Code essentially. Support bot tells me everything is fine, status page says green -- not for me.
