Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

The claude.ai Slack Connector does not appear in the VSCode extension's /mcp panel, even though it shows as Connected in claude mcp list. Other claude.ai Connectors (e.g. Microsoft 365) appear correctly in the same /mcp panel.

What Should Happen?

The Slack Connector should appear in the VSCode /mcp panel, consistent with how other claude.ai Connectors are surfaced.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Add the Slack integration via claude.ai → Customize → Connectors
  2. In terminal, run claude mcp list — Slack shows as ✓ Connected
  3. Open the VSCode extension and type /mcp — Slack is not listed
  4. Other claude.ai Connectors (Microsoft 365) appear in step 3

Relevant Output

claude mcp list output (abridged):

claude.ai Slack: https://mcp.slack.com/mcp - ✓ Connected
claude.ai Microsoft 365: https://microsoft365.mcp.claude.com/mcp - ✓ Connected

/mcp in VSCode shows Microsoft 365 but not Slack.

Error Messages/Logs

No error messages — Slack is simply absent from the list.
