Unable to connect with Chrome from Claude Code via MCP

I am trying to give Claude Code (Windows PowerShell) access to Chrome via MCP. Claude Code says Chrome is not initiating the connection.

I've already tried:

• Restart Chrome
• Remove Claude MCP from Chrome, then reinstall from Chrome Web Store
• Close Chrome, exit Claude Code, close PowerShell window, open new PS Window, start Claude Code, start Chrome.

The claude-in-chrome MCP is connected. The Claude extension in Chrome is On. Both are logged into the same Pro account. Claude Code /status:
