[BUG] Keep switching to worktree on my local although I specifically ask not to...creates extra steps to apply changes that are unneeded

What's Wrong?

I keep trying to stay in my main directory on my local and claude keep switching to worktrees and unable to go back creatign extra steps to apply changes, consume token and waste time

What Should Happen?

just stay in the main directory to make changes on my local...the remote repo is what we use to track changes and releases
